Hide and Seek

First you pick someone to be it (the person to seek) then he/she turnsaround and counts with their eyes closed at the "base" while the rest ofthe people hide.  Then "It" says "Ready or Not, Here I Come" and rushesto find everyone.  Then the people try to get to base without gettingtagged or else they are "It".  If the person who is "It" doesn't get someone in three tries he gets to pick a man to be it!

Jail Break

The children will choose someone to be it.  The person who is itcounts one o'clock, two o'clock, three o'clock rock, four o'clock, fiveo'clock, six o'clock rock, seven o'clock, eight o'clock, nine o'clock rock,ten o'clock, eleven o'clock, twelve o'clock rock, midnight!  he thentries to find the others who have hidden.  When someone is tagged,
they go to jail (usually the porch)  The children who are nottagged, try to step on jail and this will cause a jailbreak.  Theothers are free.  When all the children have been sent to jail, thefirst one in is now the person who is it.

Jason

It's modeled after the movie "Friday, the 13th" with themain character, named Jason, kills everyone in the movie except one, the soulsurvivor. The way you win the game is that you become the sole survivor.

There is one person that is "Jason" (either by eenie meenie moe ora new person that has joined the game) and Jason hides their eyes and counts to100 while everyone else in the game hides in the neighborhood. After Jason getsto 100, then they start to look for others playing the game. The first personthat is found by Jason will be the next Jason in the next round. When eachperson is found by Jason, they then help Jason find the others that are stillhiding. Once you have only one person left hiding, that person is the soulsurvivor and has won that round of "Jason".  

It's a fun game to play with a group more that 4 or 5. The more the better.

Manhunt

 

The game was just a hide and seekgame, except that when you finally found the people, you had to hold onto themlong enough to say, "Manhunt, Manhunt, 1-2-3" 3 times. 

 

Then they were out and you looked forthe rest of the people.It started over again after you caught all the people.Once they were caught they were out and had to sit it out until everyone elsewas caught. If while you were holding them and hadn't finished counting Manhunt, Manhunt 1-2-3 3 x's, you didn't catch them. 

 

You learned how to say that reallyfast and to hold on to them really tightly.
